Zera Bacon died at the home of his son, Wallace
here today at the age of 84 years. He passed
the 84th milestone last Saturday.
Mr. Bacon had suffered grip during the winter
and since that time had gradually failed in
health until the end came.
Deceased had spent practically his entire life
in this section. Mrs. Bacon died a number of
years ago.
Beside the son, Wallace at whose home
deceased resided, there is a son, Ira of Wellsville,
also three daughters, Mrs. Jennie Boom of West
Bingham; Mrs. Jessie Neal of Shongo and Mrs.
Lizzie Heading of Cooperstown, N. Y. who is ill
and unable to attend the funeral which was held
this Thursday morning from the late home at 11
o'clock. Other members of the family except Mrs.
Heading were at their father's bedside at the time
he passed away.
