Thomas Russell Bostic, 74, of Jonesboro, AR., passed away December 30, 2011.

He was born July 4, 1937, in Waverly, IL., to the late John Rice and Hattie Prickett Bostic.

He was a 1955 graduate of Waverly High School. He later proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

On October 20, 1961 he married the love of his life, Sondra Sue Taylor and began his career where among other places he worked for Anderson-Clayton Foods for over 22 years. After his retirement he worked as a consultant. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered as a quiet man of integrity.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Sondra Bostic of Jonesboro, daughter, Rebecca Raviscioni of Sparks NV, sons Kirk Bostic of Jonesboro and Matthew Bostic of Long Beach, CA. brothers, Joseph Bostic of Waverly, IL and John Bostic of Chatham, IL as well as five grandsons; Nathan, Taylor, Chris, Jon and Ethan.

Arrangments were by: Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, Jonesboro, AR. Funeral services were at the funeral home. Interment was in Waverly East Cemetery, Waverly Illinois.
