Eizabeth "Bette" Louise Davis Stratton peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father on November 16, 2011. She was born August 9, 1947 in Norristown, Pennsylvania to Ralph Davis and Dorothy Hall. She had a wonderful childhood surrounded and nurtured with love. She married H. Brent Stratton Sr.—the love of her life—on June 1, 1970 in the Salt Lake Temple. Bette was an optimistic woman of wisdom and intelligence. The greatest desire of her heart was to receive and live by the spirit, and to live her life depending on the Lord. It was important to her to teach and testify of these truths, and she did so by word and example. She found joy in womanhood and nobility in motherhood and desired to follow the path her Heavenly Father had for her.

She lived a simple life surrounded by those she loved and filled with gratitude. She was a wonderful conversationalist, a loyal friend, and a refined woman of God. She loved music and was a talented musician with a beautiful alto voice and heavenly ability on the flute. Bette was the heart of our home and a gifted nurturer. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life and she poured herself into them. As she stood at the crossroads of her families' lives, she felt her influence multiplied through her posterity; in this she found satisfaction, joy, and fulfillment.

Bette is survived by her husband, Brent, and seven children: Alisha, Brent (Laila), Scott (Courtney), Tracy (Jared) Garner, Carrie (Ben) Sorensen, Robbie (Ashlee), and Sarah; her eleven grandchildren: Hunter, Lilly, Josh, Noah, Preston, Owen, Kate, Evan, Jaden, Kale, and Ellery; as well as her brothers Ralph (Rebecca) Davis and Glen (Jeanine) Davis. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Louise; as well as her parents, grandparents, and aunts.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bountiful Heights Stake Center, 33 South Moss Hill Drive, Bountiful, UT. A public visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to the services. Interment held at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East, Orem, UT.
