A funeral for Ruth Ladora Bony of McMinnville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors, McMinnville, with the Rev. Lee Olmsted officiating.
Vault interment will be in Yamhill-Carlton Pioneer Cemetery, Yamhill.
The funeral home will be open for visitation from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Bony died July 14, 2002, in Oakwood Country Place, McMinnville. She was 102.
She was born June 15, 1900, in Yamhill, the daughter of William B. and Jennie Westergard Parker. She was raised and educated in Yamhill. She attended Stag Hollow School.
She and Clyde Bony were married in November 1919 in Yamhill.
She worked in the Yamhill Post Office for 25 years. She belonged to the Yamhill Christian Church, where she played organ and piano. She was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Bony was a volunteer in McMinnville Hospital from 1980 to 1993, retiring when she was 93. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
Survivors include a son, Russell Bony of McMinnville; a daughter, Lorraine Olmsted of Vancouver, Wash.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980 and by a great-grandson, Scott Banke.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Yamhill Christian Church in care of Macy & Son, 135 N.E. Evans St., McMinnville, OR 97128.
