Wilson — Funeral service for Mr. Billy Bob Hacker, 74, of Wilson, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with the Rev. David Gardner and the Rev. Wayne Howard officiating and Les Hacker providing the Eulogy. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery in Wilson. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
Billy Bob was born February 19, 1937, at Wilson, Okla., to the late George W. Hacker and Mrs. Lillie Ellen (Stafford) Hacker. He departed this life Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at Ardmore.
Billy and the former Carrie Bea Holmes of Fox were united in marriage on March 21, 1958, at Wilson and later had five children. He worked at Uniroyal and the oil fields taking an early medical retirement from Triple D Drilling. Billy loved raising cattle, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was baptized at Rose Hill Baptist Church south of Wilson as a teenager.
Preceding him in death was his parents; and infant daughter, Sherrie Diane Hacker - January 1, 1960.
Survivors include wife, Carrie of the home; daughter, Tammy Perry and husband, Denny of Tuttle; sons, Rickey Hacker and wife, Patti of Lone Grove, Greg Hacker of Wilson, and Steven Hacker and Kim of Wilson; sister, Vera Mae Williams and husband, Bobby of Wilson; brothers, Gilbert "Gil" Hacker and wife, Becky of Wilson, Kenneth Hacker and wife, Jane, and Loran Hacker and wife, Peggy, both of Lone Grove; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
Pallbearers are Wesley Hacker, Caleb Hacker, Mike Hacker, Jeff Hacker, Chris Hacker, and Matt Hacker.
Family visitation will be held from 6-8 this evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
