Mrs. Harry Anderson Dead

Special to the Gazette:
Americus, Kansas, Dec. 1 - Mrs. Harry Anderson died at her home two miles northwest of Americus this morning at 4:15 o'clock.

Funeral arrangements are not complete. The casket will be open at the Simons Funeral Home, Americus until the time of the services.

Mrs. Anderson, whose maiden name was Hazel Etta Finney, was born June 7, 1895, at Burchard, Neb. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Finney. She married Harry Anderson June 26, 1919.

She is survived by her husband; six sons, Wayne, Donald, Wendell, Ross, Leonard and Elvin Anderson, Americus; three brothers, Elmer Finney, Americus; Earl Finney, Colorado; James Finney, Arkansas; three sisters, Miss Fern, Arkansas; three sisters, Miss Fern Finney, Americus; Mrs. Gladys Fowler, El Dorado; Mrs. Clara Swanfield, Calif.

Rites For Mrs. Anderson

Special to the Gazette:
Americus, Kansas, Dec. 7 - Funeral services for Mrs. Harry C. Anderson were held at the United Presbyterian Church on Wednesday afternoon December 5, at 2 o'clock. Rev. William Pinkerton, instructor in Sterling College, gave the funeral sermon. Mrs. C. N. Kerr, Mrs. Paul M. Dinsmore and Mrs. Clair Edmiston sang, accompanied by Mrs. E. L. Hunsaker.

Pallbearers were J. B. Cusic, Arthur Edmiston, J. R. Brown, William Delfs, William Jysom and A. J. Tils. Burial was in Americus Cemetery.

Relatives and friends from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Clair Finney, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Snell, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Finney, all of Summerfield; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Fowler and daughter Juanita, El Dorado; John Greenlee, Admire; Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Saffer, Reading; Mrs. George Anderson and daughter Mildred of Emporia; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Say and Mrs. Millie Dunn of Alta Vista; Mr. and Mrs. O. O. Gibson and daughter Marjoria, Topeka; Mrs. Je??y Glenn, Ellinwood.
