TERRE HAUTE — Marian Marie Sims, 87, of Terre Haute died Tuesday Nov. 30, 2010, at
9:35 p.m. at her home. She was born Jan. 25, 1923, in Terre Haute, to Roy and Stella
(Taylor) Brenton.

She is survived by three children and their spouses: Terry Sims and wife Beth; Kenneth
Sims and wife Sue and Linda Pfister and husband Robert. Also surviving are several
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Ronald Sims; and husbands:
Edward Sims, Roy Schaffer, Joseph Bigush and Oney Sims Jr.

She attended Sugar Creek Baptist Church in West Terre Haute, was a member of
Daytime Grandmothers Club, OES, and Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Friday Dec. 3, 2010, at DeBaun Springhill
Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services immediately following at 1:30 p.m. with
Pastor Jacob W. Evans officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. If friends so
desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley
