Shari LaRue Cozart was born July 17, 1933 in Tarrant County, to Daniel Brown LaRue and Frances McKey LaRue. She was married to her high school sweetheart, John Lynn Cozart for 58 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Shari was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Daniel Brown LaRue Jr.
Survivors include her husband, John L. Cozart; daughters, Lisa Lynn Cozart (Bob) Teague, Leslie Carol Cozart Erwin, Laura Leigh Cozart (Matt) Gieser; son, John Michael 'Mike' Cozart; grandchildren, Michelle Heinz, Christy Easley, Amy Hurt, Craig Martin, John Cozart, Carrie Chavez, Marcus Erwin, Megan Erwin and Hunter Gieser; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Lane 'Dick' LaRue; sister, Connie Frances LaRue Chandler; and sister-in-law, Margaret LaRue.
