Annie was quite a character! In her old age, she loved to wear a comfortable "duster" and play solitaire on a TV tray while watching television. Her gray cat, Tom, would often knock the phone receiver off the hook while rubbing his chin on it. This would lead us to say "Tom's on the phone again" when trying to call Annie and getting a busy signal over and over. She loved to talk and visit. She dipped snuff, loved a good laugh and advised the relatives not to vote Republican. Her good humor and laughter can still be remembered to this day.
