Evart-Funeral services for John H. Elder, 63, of Evart, Osceola County supervisor for the last 23 years, will be held at 1:30p.m. Saturday at Community Methodist Church, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. The body is at Corey Funeral Home.
Mr. Elder, who dies Wednesday at this home, was director of the Federal Land Bank Association embracing Osceola, Isabella, Missaukee and Clare counties.
Surviving are his widow, Lillian; sons, Dorman of Evart and Jack of Petoskey; brother, William of Evart' sisters, Mrs. Howard Fish of Lapeer; Mrs. Cass Cockerton of Venice, Fla. Frs. Arnold Comming of Montpelier, Ohio, and Mrs. Dan McLachlan of Flint, and six grandchildren.
