Ina Claire Whitehead, 56, of McComb, died May 27, 2010, at her residence.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cook's Enterprise Funeral Home of McComb. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. J. Lee Harrell, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Algiers Cemetery.
Mrs. Whitehead was born Aug. 20, 1953, in McComb, to Isiah and Mae Claire Barnes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold Ashley; and a sister, Bobbie Hunt.
Survivors include her husband, Farmer Whitehead; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Jason Whitehead of Atlanta, Marcus and Stephanie Whitehead of San Antonio and Tremayne Whitehead and Yemond Whitehead, both of McComb; a daughter, Carla Whitehead; a granddaughter, Jayla McWell; five brothers and a sister-in-law, Terry Ashley of McComb, Richard Ashley and Clarence Ashley Jr., both of Chicago, Hollis Ashley Sr., of Madison, Wis., and Roy and Yvonne Ashley of Gonzales, La.; two sisters, Esther Ashley and Maudess Barnes, both of McComb; her mother-in-law, Lenora Vance; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
