COLORADO CITY ~~ Mrs. Bluford Towery, 72, of Colorado City, died in Root Memorial Hospital Thursday morning after a short illness. Funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Street Baptist Church with the Reverend Carl Lee, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery with Kiker and Son Funeral Home in charge.
Born in Jack County July 18, 1893, she had lived in Colorado City since 1937. She married Mr. Towery in 1956 in Lovington, New Mexico.
Survivors are her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Willis Boyd, Jr. of Hobbs, New Mexico; one son, W. M. Ware of Wizard Wells, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. R. S. Luker of Lamesa, Mrs. Ruby Ramsey and Mrs. Dovie McDaniel, both of Jacksboro; one brother, Flabous Worthington of Wizard Wells.
