COLORADO CITY ~~ Bluford H Towerey, 68, retired service station operator died Wednesday in Root Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Kiker & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Glenn Roenfeldt, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery.
Mr. Towery was born July 23, 1902 in Mississippi and came to Mitchell County in 1920.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Dick (Gertrude) Glover and Mrs. Clifford (Hollis) Copley both of Alpena, Arkansas; four brothers, Claude of Loraine, A.B. of Amarillo, R.H. of Albany, Oregon and Bent of Pico Rivera, California.
