She is survived by her son, Russell Ivie; daughter-in-law, Francea Ivie; and daughter, Donna Ivie. Surviving grandchildren include Jason Ivie, Ali Murphy, Jonathan Ivie, and Jessica Kent. Carnella's eight great-grandchildren include Matthew Ivie, Brady Bonner, Jaxson Ivie, Rebecca and Jayden Murphy, Jude and Olivia Kent, and Rylan Ivie.
