"It is so beautiful here you almost feel like you are flying." That was the comment of "Tex" when he first visited this lovely place overlooking the Cook Inlet with his friend, Jiggs Tice. Tex also mentioned that he would like to be buried in a place like this, so when his plane crashed on take-off from Seldovia, Jiggs and his wife donated the land as a burial place for their friend. Survived by wife, Jackie, and sons Scott and Kenny.
