TIVOLI -- Bessie Mae Dayton, 87, of Tivoli died Thursday, May 16, 1996.
She was born Oct. 15 1908, in Nacogdoches to the late Edward Nathaniel and Mary Eugene Goss Strong. The homemaker was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors: sisters, Ida Bell Payne of Tivoli and Beatrice Lee of San Antonio and brothers, Edward Strong of Fannin and Ervin Jeffery Strong of Vashon, Wash.
Preceded in death by: husband, Charles Henry Dayton in 1963; son, O.D. Rusk and brothers, Taylor Strong and Tommy Lee Strong.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Rosewood Funeral chapel, with Wayne De Dear officiating.
Graveside service will be held at 11:30; Saturday at Glendale Cemetery in Goliad,

Rosewood Funeral Chapels in charge of arrangements.
