RIPLEY - Irene Roberts Watson, 94, died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Ripley. She was born Sept. 14, 1909, to Robert Roberts and Emma Bishop Roberts. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany with the Rev. Don Wilson and the Rev. Harold Adair officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Louise Crosthwait and husband, Gene, of Fort Worth, Texas; two sons, Edward Watson and wife, Audrey, of Ripley, and Doug Watson and wife, Billie, of Dumas; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henderson Watson; her parents; twin sons, Norville and Orville Watson; and three grandchildren, Chris Neal, Norma Rene Watson and Kerry Douglas Watson.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Billy Neal and Danny Neal; great-grandsons, Josh Hubbard, Colt Hubbard and Lane Watson; and Steve Roby and Jerry Adair.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
