She married Lennart Carlson on October 11, 1958, in Rock Island. Jean was an office manager for the Rock Island Children's Clinic, retiring in 1959. She was a longtime member of Broadway Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Women, a lifelong member of Victory Circle of King's Daughters.
Jean is survived by her son, Roger Carlson, Rock Island; grandchildren, Justin, Evan, and Amanda; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Doris Wenos; and brother, Robert Carlson.
