Cartersville, Georgia
August 20, 1896
Mrs. James Keever died at her home on Monday of last week, and was interred at the Macedonia cemetery on Tuesday. Rev. A. J. McCoy conducted the funeral services. She was very old and a Christian from her 14 th year.
I believe this is Mary Rebecca Jane Bradshaw Keever. The date on her tombstone is an approximation. The tombstone for her and James Keever was put up in the early 2000s. The 1900 census shows that Mary was no longer living with James. They are buried in the Old Macedonia Cemetery.
