Visitation was from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Newton. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery in Newton.
Mrs. Green was born on January 28, 1922, in Jasper County, the daughter of Perry and Grace (Pierce) Foster. She married James Green on September 20, 1940. He preceded her in death on August 11, 1960.
She was a factory worker and a member of Life Tabernacle Church in Newton.
Mrs. Green is survived by two sons, Harold Green and his wife, Mary, and Montie Green and his wife, Judy, both of Gainesville, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Fetty and her husband, Jim, of Wylie, Texas; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, John Foster and his wife, Lorene, of Newton, and Bob Foster and his wife, Jo Ann, of Olney; and four sisters, Emma Woods and her husband, Dorris, of Dieterich, Alberta Kibler, of Newton, Eva Nichols, of Effingham, and Sylva Slane and her husband, Chub, of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Jim Green, a grandson, Joe Fetty, two brothers, Norman and Dean Foster, and three sisters, Ethel Brackett, Millie Schackmann and Rowena Hemrich.
