Lila was born February 21, 1920 in Summerville, SC, the daughter of David Henry Bunch and Elizabeth Bee Bunch.
She was a member of Charlestowne Methodist Church. She retired as a salesperson from Condon's Department Store, Infant Department.
She is survived by three sons: David E. Rowell, James R. Rowell (Dean) both of Charleston, SC, Gene R. Rowell of Florence, SC; one daughter: Kathy R. Lukow (Terry) of Hebron, CT; daughter-in-law, Paula Rowell of Charleston, SC; eight Grandchildren: David, Marty, Jason, Elizabeth, Michael, Megan, Kate and Jennifer; 12 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren; and one sister, Rosalie B. Doar of Warner Robins, GA.
