Mable Cloyd, 91, of Abernathy, Texas and formerly Lubbock, Texas, passed away on January 17, 2012.
Survivors include her son-in-law, Kenneth Travis Timms of Abernathy and her grandchildren, Tammy Timms, Ron and Pam Chambless of Abernathy, and Michael Bentley and Cindy Bentley O'Brien of Dallas.
Mable was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Cloyd and her daughter, Clydene Cloyd Timms.
Family and friends will gather Saturday January 28, 2012 at the Abernathy Community Center at 3pm to celebrate the life of Mable with a memorial service. The Community Center is located within City Hall at 811 Ave. D. A reception will follow so loved ones can reminisce about the wonderful times together with her. Rev. Jerry Stewart from the Lone Star Cowboy Church will officiate.
