Seneca Township Resident, Long Ill Succumbs
George W. Heilman, 72, died at 11 p.m. Saturday in his home in Seneca township on the Berwick road. He had been in failing health for several years and was critically ill for two weeks. Mr. Heilman was born in Wyandot county October 20, 1866 to Eli and Catherine (Elliott) Heilman, and resided in Seneca county for the last 30 years of his life. He was married March 19, 1893, to Gertrude Conaghan and is survived by his wife, the following sons and daughters, Horatio Elliott, and Gertrude, all at home. Mrs. Gladys Shafer, Tiffin; and Mrs. A. M. Ramsower, New Riegel; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Palmer, Huntington Park, Calif., and Mrs. Alom Blue, Carey; and nine grandchildren. One son, James, is deceased. Funeral services are to be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Hoffman Memorial and will be conducted by the Rev. Paul R. Clouser, of Carey. Interment will be in St. Joseph's cemetery here. The body was to be taken from the Hoffman Memorial this afternoon to the residence and friends may call there until Wednesday noon.
