A resident of the Archbold area for many years, she moved to Pulaski in 1983. She worked at Strydel in Stryker for about 13 years before retiring in 1977, and was a member of the Pulaski United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Howard "Cy" (Hattie) Brodbeck of Manitou Beach, Mich.; a son, James (and wife, Sue) Clingaman of Stryker; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents; a son, Jerry; a granddaughter; and a brother, Ivan Schaffner.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. at the Short Funeral Home in Archbold. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Pillow of the Rollin Methodist Church at Manitou Beach, Mich., officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery near Archbold.
Memorials may be made to the Harborside Healthcare Center of Northwest Ohio-Bryan, or to Sauder Village.
