She was born Oct. 17, 1941, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Lawrence Norris and Margaret Mary (Lauff) Aldrich. She married Michael L. Flynn on June 20, 1959, in Sterling. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors included her husband, Michael; her mother Margaret Aldrich of Sterling; her daughters, Maureen Leal (Matthew) Frey and Margaret (Clark) Franks, both of Rock Falls; her sons, LeRoy (Dottie) Flynn, Tony Flynn (Neil Roselieb), Ted (Robin) Flynn and Joseph Flynn, all of Sterling; her sisters, Agnes (Roger) Worthington of Rock Falls and Norma Andrews and Mary Aldrich, both of Sterling; her brothers, John (Jeanie) Aldrich of Owasso, Mich., Dennis (Pat) Aldrich of Sterling and Ralph Aldrich of Rock Falls; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Aldrich; and a daughter in infancy, Barbara Flynn.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Sterling, with the rosary recited at 4:45 p.m. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Sterling. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Sterling.
