Louis Albert Dies in Hospital After Battle in Chester
Louis Albert, who died at Havre, Mont., following a bout in Chester, Mont., Wednesday night with John Trochie, appeared in Great Falls rings three times last year.
Albert first appeared here several months ago when he substituted for a missing boxer and won his bout with a knockout. He scored another knockout on his second appearance but dropped the decision in his third battle here.
The Chester bout was scheduled for eight rounds but Albert's seconds threw in the sponge at the end of the sixth.
The boxer soon became unconscious and was taken to Havre for treatment.
