Preceded in death by 1st wife, Angeline Mittan and 2 of their 5 children.

Ida B. Allcot, born in 1859 and died in Feb. 1860 in Pepin, Pepin Co., Wisconsin. Burial unknown.
Minnie B., born Aug 2, 1866 and died June 11, 1868 in Constantine, St. Joseph Co., Michigan. Burial in Constantine Township Cemetery.

Survived by 2nd wife, Christina "Tina"
Lutes and their 2 children.

Also survived by children, Frank Minton Alcott Sr.(Frances), Harriet "Hattie" R. Cliff (Frederick), Jessie May Freeman (Leon) by his 1st wife, Angeline, and Lillie Marion Spears (George) and Samuel Albert Allcot (Estella) by 2nd wife,Christina.

Research shows John spelled his surname four different ways in his life time, Allcot, Alcott, Allcott and Alcutt.

The surname on gravestone of his 1st. wife, Angeline it is spelled Allcot, but all 3 of their children spelled it Alcott. When he married Christina, he went back to Allcot and their children, Lillie & Samuel, went by Allcot.Served in Union Army in the Civil War as Corporal in Co. G, 16th Wisconsin Infantry.
