MRS. LILLIE DANA TAKEN BY DEATH

Mrs. Lillie Spears Dana, 68, resident of San Luis Obispo county for the past 55 years, died yesterday at her home on Essex street following a long illness.
Mrs. Dana is survived by her husband, Edward Dana of San Luis Obispo; a son, Melvin Spears of Fairbanks, Alaska; a brother, Samuel Allcot of Lompoc; a granddaughter Louise Alarid of San Diego; and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Wood chapel, Arroyo Grande, with burial in the family plot of the Arroyo Grande district cemetery.
