David S. Bear, retired farmer residing three miles east of Newville, in West Pennsboro township, died this morning about 2:30 o'clock, aged 82 years, 11 months and 9 days. He was a member of the Reformed Mennonite church of Plainfield. He is survived by his wife and these children: Edgar, at home; Alvin, of Waynesboro; Mrs. J. C. Snyder, West Pennsboro; Mrs. George Miller, Newville R. D. 9.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services at the residence at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Church of God cemetery (sic) at Plainfield. Rev. John Miller, of Camp Hill, will officiate.
