He served until Dec 31, 1863, when no further record can be found. Edward was 20 years old. He was paid $72.20 for the use of his horse, clothing and guns that he owned. His wife applied for a widow's pension Jan 10, 1910 and was approved Feb 28, 1910; the last pension she received was for $37.00.
