Charles Pinkston "Pink" Hutson, 90, of Burfordville passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 27, 1920, on the family farm near Burfordville, son of Sylvanis Odney and Iva Caroline Craig Hutson. He and Viola Lucille Crader were married July 24, 1943. She died Sept. 9, 1950. He and Lela Lorene Hahn were married March 1, 1958.

Hutson enjoyed farming and living on the family century farm raising registered Angus cattle. He was also a bus driver for 27 years with the Jackson School District. He was a member of Burfordville Baptist Church and served as a deacon.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, Marie, Mable, Ruth, Inez and Ruby; two brothers, William and Robert.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Tommy Weems and Irvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
