He was predeceased by his father Daniel Marvin Baker and his mother Clara Elizabeth (Jennings)Baker. He married Carol Burgess on November 7, 1942 and was blessed with 2 children. Mr. Baker was an Army veteran who served during WWII. He was retired from the U.S.G.S., he was an avid golfer and car enthusiast. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rolla since 1949 and served as a deacon. He is survived by his wife of 69years Carol Baker of the home;two children Daniel Baker and wife Sheryl of Hannibal, MO, Sara Ford and husband Bill of Lancaster, VA;five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Quentin Earl Baker was buried in the Ozark Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Rolla, MO.

Quentin Earl Baker was my first cousin 1x (one time removed), His parents lived in a big yellow house just down the road from the Bee Branch Baptist Church where his parents, brother and sister are currently buried.
