Lloyd Aldinger, 85, of Rest Haven-York, formerly of West Philadelphia Street, who was a retired owner/operator of a then Joe Bury Restaurant in West York, died at 12:05 a.m. Sunday at the home. He was the husband of the late Evelyn T. (Sipe) Aldinger.
The service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St. Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery, York New Salem. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Aldinger was born at Brillhart, the son of the late William H. and Nancy L. (Beck) Aldinger.
Mr. Aldinger is survived by a son, Lloyd Q. Aldinger, Williamsport; four daughters, Vyvyan F. Schwartz, York, H. Patricia Holt, Williamsport, Nancy J. Blackman, Mount Clemens, Mich., and Stephanie J. Simon, Vineland, N.J.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Viola L. Aldinger, York, Mabel I. Aldinger, Hanover, and Mary J. Shaffer, Seven Valleys.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Donald C. Nolder, pastor of Zion United Methodist Church.
