Oscar C. Aldinger
Oscar C. Aldinger, 84, of 278 W. Cottage Place, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. He was the husband of Mrs. Lizzie A. (Rohrbaugh) Aldinger.
Mr. Aldinger was a retired employee of American Chain and Cable Co. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and its Home Department.
An army veteran of World War I, he was a member of York Post 127, American Legion.
He was born in York Township, son of the late William and Nancy Beck Aldinger.
Survivors include: Four brothers, Raymond, Charles and Lloyd Aldinger, all of York, and Norval Aldinger, Dallastown, and three sisters, Mrs. Mary Shaffer, Seven Valleys, and Mabel and Viola Aldinger, both of York.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Baumeister and Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, Queen and Jackson Streets. The Rev. William A. Speers, his pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery. Family requests no viewing the evening before.
