Suggested edit: (Fischer-Ablan) Of White Bear Lake Jan left this world on November 29, 2011 to join her parents, John and Coletta Fischer; siblings, Gloria Steffen, Jeanne Bicha, Claudette (Joe) Munson and James Fischer.
She shared much joy and laughter with her family and friends through the years. Jan worked in the financial industry for over 35 years retiring from Norwest Bank in 1998. She and Russ then found a second home on the Florida Gulf Coast to escape the cold MN winters. Jan thoroughly enjoyed her life. Her passions were history and travel, combining the two she and Russ spent many happy years traveling the world. They visited four continents, Central America, and many places in the U.S. from the gold fields in Alaska to the Civil War sites in the Shenandoah Valley to Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts.
