He was born to Parents William and Nellie McCrehin. March 3, 1917 at Leonard. He grew up and went to school in Leonard.
Ralph was united in marriage to Adele Aos September 1940 at Clearbrook. He had been postmaster at Leonard and moved to the Cities in the early 1950's and worked for Coast to Coast for many years. He later worked at a couple of malls in the city doing maintenance work until he was 80 years old.
Ralph was very soft spoken, humorous and fun to be around. Ralph was survived by his son Jim and his wife Dee and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Adele and infant son Rick, parents William and Nellie, brothers Loren and Lloyd and sister Ellen. Services were held in Brooklyn Park with interment in Detroit Lakes.
He was cremated and buried beside Adele at Detroit Lakes MN.
