SCITUATE --- Amelia E. Denison, 83, of Peep Toad Road, a piano teacher for 30 years before retiring in 1965, died Friday at Roger Williams General Hospital. She was the wife of James L. Denison.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late John T. and Mary A. (Ainsworth) Hargreaves, she moved from Pawtucket to Scituate 42 years ago.
Mrs. Denison was a member of the North Scituate Baptist Church, and a charter member of the Scituate Senior Citizens. She was a graduate of the Schneider Music School.
Her husband is her only immediate survivor.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow at noon at the Winfield and Sons Funeral Home, Route 116, North Scituate Village. Burial will be in Phillips Memorial Cemetery, Foster.
