NEW ALBANY – Eva Mae Foreman, 87, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at her residence. She was born Nov. 9, 1922, in Union County to the late Finner Duncan and Becky Wingo Duncan. She was a retired factory worker. She was a member of the Bethal Baptist Church
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010, at United Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Lawrence and Rev. Kyle Ivy officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. United Funeral Service in New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by four daughters, Betty Roberts (Larry) of New Albany, Kathern Jackson (Darwin) of Ingomar, Diane Carter (Ronnie) of Myrtle and Donna Cregar (Jimmy) of Oxford; two sons, Charles Lamar Foreman (Linda) of Etta and Troy Foreman (Becky) of New Albany; 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Preston L. Foreman; her son, James Dalton Foreman; two sisters, Lois Thomas and Modell Sanford; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be today, July 8, 2010, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
