Funeral services were Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Oak Street Baptist Church with Rev Ernest Bailey, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Everett Yielding of May.
Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Phillips was born July 29, 1897. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. She married Acie Phillips Sept. 15, 1919 m Comanche County. He preceded her in death in December, 1971.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. J. E. (Louise) McMullen of Colorado City; a son, A.W. Phillips of Colorado City, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nixon of Andrews and Mrs. Oma Cook of Brownwood; three grandchildren, Mrs. Brenda Edwards of Almagordo, N.M., Randy Phillips of Colorado City and Mrs. Janet Mayo of Colorado City; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bryant Martin, Max Martin, Jerry Nixon, Randy Phillips, Ken Land and Joey Edwards.
