Reed, 79, 1314 Emigration St. (1725 East)) died of causes incident to age Sunday morning at his home. Born April 20, 1884, Lancashire, England, to William and Johanna Lewis Reed. Married Ida Beachler Feb. 15, 1908, Frontier, Wyo. She died June 29, 1962. Coal miner in Castle Gate, Carbon County, area. Member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: son, daughters, Mrs. Joe J. (Dorothy) Milano, Mrs. Laura Tilt, Mrs. Ida Smith, Herbert S., all Salt Lake City; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Annie Jones, Dragerton, Carbon County. Funeral Wednesday noon, 36 E 7th South, where friends call Tuesday 6-8 p.m., Wednesday prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
