Mrs. Vada Marie Burge, 47, of 673 Greene 402 Rd, Paragould, died on November 22, 1996.

A graveside service was held Monday morning at 10: 30 at Ramer's Chapel Cemetery, with Tony Monreal officiating. The service was under the direction of Heath Funeral Home of Paragould.

Vada was born on July 8, 1949, a native of Mississippi. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal belief.

Survivors include her husband, Basil Burge of Lafe; three sons Michael Burge and Basil Burge III of Lafe, and John Burge. of Texarkana, Texas; two daughters, Sally Burge and Lorre Burge of Lafe; her father Benny Lamar of Paragould; seven brothers, 0' Neil Lamar of Hayti, Mo. James Lamar of Black Oak, and Melvin Lamar, William Lamar, Joseph Lamar, Greg Lamar and Anthon" Lamar of Paragould; eight sisters, Betty Waddel , Alissa Bolton, Melody Caldwell, Lorrie Dixon and Elizabeth Hale all of Paragould, Patricia Lunsford of Corning, Catherine Pettit of Delaplaine and Cathy Watson of Peach Orchard, and one grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Larry Mears, Ernie Lunsford Jr., Shane Lamar, Donnie Lamar, Jay Haggard and Bobby Steele.

Interment was in the Ramer's Chapel Cemetery near Marmaduke with Heath Funeral Home of Paragould in charge.
