Our loving mother passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on December 9, 2011.

She was born on April 17, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Curtis Flitton and Luella Rawson Flitton. Mom had seven brothers and one sister.

Married James Brown in 1945; they had three children: Tommy, Sue, and Jerry. Later divorced. Married Alfred Thiel in 1965; deceased. Married Eldon Moss in 1992.

A member of the LDS Church, she was sealed to Alfred Thiel in the Salt Lake Temple. Mom was very artistic in many areas. Designed wedding cakes, porcelain figurines and dolls (which the granddaughters still treasure), hardanger, and she was also an excellent cook. We will miss you mom and you will forever be in our hearts.

Myrl is survived by her children, Sue Ann (Steve) Brooks, Jerry (Kathleen) Brown, Robert (Carol) Thiel, and David (Leslie) Thiel; thirteen grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers, son Tommy, and her three husbands.
