Mr. and Mrs. Frank Berney left Wednesday evening for Wray, Colorado, after receiving word that her father, Morley E. Piper was seriously ill and in a hospital there. He passed away before their arrival.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Wray. Mr. Piper, who was 94 years and 5 months old, was one of eleven children. Besides his daughter, Mrs. Hester Berney, he is survived by two other daughters and two sons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, who died last New Years Day, one son, his parents and all his brothers and sisters excepting one sister, who lives in Flint, Michigan.
