Grover Gilland, 77, died Saturday evening at the home of his sister, Mrs. Harry L. Landers Sr., RR 1, Gaston, after a long illness.
He also leaves a brother, Frank Gilland and another sister, Mrs. Clara Jenkins, both of Muncie, as well as several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Pentecostal Tabernacle. Rev. C.L. Crum will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Daleville.
Friends may call at the family residence, 2210 S. Pierce St., after 1 p.m. Monday. Parson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
