LYONS - Mrs Josie E Colberg, 91, died Monday at the Pioneer Manor Rest Home, Lyons, after a long illness. Born Jan 13, 1878, near Frederick, she was married to Edward Colberg, Jan 17, 1901, at Frederick. He died in 1952. She had been a resident here since 1934.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Lyons, WSCD, Eastern Star, past Matrons club.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs Oscar Piehler, Lyons; Mrs Minor Smith, Sequin, Washington; sons, Alford and Orville, both of Lyons; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Crawford-Miller Mortuary, Lyons; Rev. Gilbert S Peters. Burial will be at the Lyons Cemetery. Friends may call 10 a.m. Wednesday until time of services at the mortuary.
