Mr Colberg was born in Kankakee, Ill., Jan 1, 1877, went to Ellsworth county with his parents when he was eight years old, moved to Rice county farm in 1910, retired in 1935 to Lyons.
He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Frederick, the Wichita Scottish Rite, the Shrine at Salina and was past patron of the Lyons OES.
He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs Oscar Piehler, Lyons, and Mrs Pearl Smith, Los Angeles; two sons, Alford and Orville, both of Lyons RFD; seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren; seven brothers, Louis and Arthur, Lyons, John, California, Henry, Topeka, George, Bushton, Bert, Attica, and Fred, Wichita.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Crawford and Miller chapel here with burial in Lyons cemetery.
