He was born in Glens Falls on April 26, 1907, the son of Arthur Eugene Sansoucy, Sr. and Aurella Demarsh. His mother died in 1920.
Mr. Sansoucy was educated in St. Mary's Academy of Ogdensburg, and on January 13, 1939, in Rossie, NY, he married the former Doris B. Morgan.
Mr. Sansoucy was a former Ogdensburg resident moving to Sherrill in 1961. Prior to his retirement in 1972, he was a a newspaper publisher with the Hammond Advertiser, of Hammond, NY. He then worked for the Oneida Daily Dispatch, of Oneida and later with the Observer Dispatch, of-Utica. Mr. Sansoucy was a member of St. Helena's Church of Sherrill.
Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Leo Gary Sansoucy, of Lee Center, and Paul M. Sansoucy, of Watertown; one sister, Mrs. Regina Fisher, of Sebring, Fla.; two half-brothers, Eugene Sansoucy and John Sansoucy both of Ogdensburg; four grandchildren, Michael, Brett, Jill and Elise; one great grandson, Michael; several nieces and nephews.
