Lewis Harvey Hays

Lewis Harvey Hays, aged 44, of 104 North McKean street, died at 11:45 o'clock yesterday morning in the Cresson Sanitarium, Cresson.

Born in Butler, Mr. Hays was a lifelong resident here. He served for four years in the United States army, and was formerly employed by Herold's Dairy.

Surviving are his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace K. Hays; two brothers, Wallace A. Hays of Butler and Carl L. Hays of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. Anna M. Greene of Butler, Mrs. Edna O'Neil of Butler and Mrs. Velma Shiever of Butler.

Friends will be received at Thompson's East North McKain streets, tonight, tomorrow and Saturday.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert H. French, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial will in the Summit Presbyterian cemetery.
