Lucy Grace (Cartwright) Barkwell passed away on December 29, 1927 at the age of 39. She died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Clevenger, 711 E Willard St, Muncie, Indiana. Grace was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 2, 1888 and moved to Muncie as a child with her parents James and Mary Louise (Cawley) Cartwright. She is survived by her husband William E Barkwell, one sister, Mary Edith Morris (husband William) of Cumberland, Maryland, and three brothers, Joseph W Cartwright of Cumberland, Maryland and Albert Walter Cartwright and Harry E Cartwright of Muncie. Her body will be moved to the home of her brother, Walter, at 803 E Memorial Dr, Muncie and services will be held at Madison Street Methodist Church at 2:00 PM on December 31 with Rev G H Meyers presiding. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Muncie.
