Jack Doyle Yancey, retired railroad switchman, of Smithville died Dec. 8, 2011. He was born at home in Smithville on Nov. 15, 1925 to Bertha Jackson Yancey and Lonnie Yancey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters.
Jack is survived by special friend, Carol Stagner of Smithville; daughter, Jackie Dagen of Houston; siblings, Lonnie, George, Larry, John Wayne, Leah, Bobby Lynn and JoAnn; and two granddaughters.
Visitation 4 p.m. today, All Faiths of the Pines, Smithville. Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 11 at All Faiths of the Pines Funeral Home. Burial Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville.
